Belarus’s self-proclaimed president, Aleksandr Lukashenko, stated that Minsk has identified one “very serious” target on Ukrainian territory. This was his response to a recent statement by Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces (USF).

Lukashenko made this statement on Sunday, May 31; his words were quoted by the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel.

"They may have identified 500 targets—thank you for giving us 500 targets. We have one target, a very serious one, with precise coordinates and very close to Belarus. They understand this too,” said the self-proclaimed president of Belarus.

Lukashenko did not specify exactly which “very serious” target he was referring to.

He also dismissed as “nonsense” Ukraine’s claims that Belarus could launch a full-scale war against Ukraine.

"The Ukrainian military does not want any war with Belarus. I know this for sure. Because they understand that this would mean another 1,000 kilometers of additional front lines and border. And the border between Belarus and Ukraine is not an easy one. Do they need that? No," said Lukashenko.

The Belarusian dictator added that Ukrainian army units, allegedly consisting of conscripts and territorial defense forces, are stationed on the border on the Ukrainian side.

"Yesterday’s workers, machine operators, collective farmers, and so on. What kind of soldiers are these? They’re just cannon fodder. That’s why <...> we can clearly see <...> this is just talk," said Lukashenko.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 26, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, stated that Ukraine has already identified 500 targets on Belarusian territory in case Minsk dares to go to war.

As a reminder, last Thursday, May 28, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stated that Belarus had prepared bases for the emergency deployment of troops.
