291 combat clashes take place on front during day, 49 of them on Pokrovsk axis
On May 29, 291 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked most of all on the Pokrovsk (49 clashes) and Huliaipole (40) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike using seven missiles and carried out 91 air strikes, dropping 277 guided bombs.
In addition, the enemy used 8,549 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,807 attacks on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 53 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On May 29, 291 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the aggressor carried out three air strikes using six anti-aircraft missiles, carried out 64 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, including six using MLRS.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the russians attacked the positions of Ukrainian units eight times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchansk and towards Ternova, Izbytske.
On the Kupiansk axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped eight attempts by the enemy to advance towards the settlements of Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, Novoosynove and in the areas of Borivska Andriivka and Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman axis, the invaders tried 12 times to wedge into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine towards Lyman, Drobysheve, Shyikivka, Ozerne and Hlushchenkove.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy stormed three times in the areas of the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the russians carried out three offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Nykyforivka, Pryvillia and towards Tykhonivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the occupiers carried out 12 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar and towards Rozkishne.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 49 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and towards the settlements of Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Dorozhnie, Toretske, Nove Shakhove, Shevchenko.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked six times on the areas of the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Zlahoda, Ternove and towards Verbove.
On the Huliaipole axis, the invaders carried out 40 attacks on the areas of the settlements of Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka and towards Nove Zaporizhzhia, Huliaipilske, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvizhivka, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped ten attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbaky, Plavni and Stepnohirsk.
On the Dnieper axis, the russians did not conduct active offensive operations.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck a command post, three artillery systems, a drone control point, nine areas of manpower concentration and two other important enemy facilities.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on May 29 amounted to 1,430 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 28, 267 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them on the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole axes.
