Armed Forces of Ukraine strike at russian command post in occupied Luhansk Region with Storm Shadow missiles - General Staff
On May 25, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used Storm Shadow cruise missiles to destroy a russian command and communications post in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk Region.
It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On May 25, 2026, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used air-launched Storm Shadow cruise missiles to successfully destroy a key enemy command and communications center in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk Region," the statement said.
The General Staff stated that this strike underscores "strategic foresight, unified planning, and purposeful actions."
As a reminder, the General Staff previously reported that on the night of May 25, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of russian targets, including:
- the Belets oil depot (Unecha, Bryansk Oblast, russian federation), used to supply the occupying army of the aggressor state,
- an enemy ammunition depot (Mizhhiria, temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea),
- an ammunition depot in the area of Novoianysol,
- a field artillery depot in the area of Kremenivka of the Donetsk Region,
- a logistics depot in the area of Dokuchaievsk of the Donetsk Region,
- a communications hub of the occupier forces’ unit in Ivanivka, Donetsk Region,
- the command platoon of an artillery unit (Troitske, Zaporizhzhia Region).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had managed to stabilize the front line.
