233 combat clashes take place on front during day, 38 of them on Pokrovsk axis
On May 24, 233 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked the most on the Pokrovsk (38 clashes) and Huliaipole (28) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out one missile strike using 89 missiles and 89 air strikes, dropping 261 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy used 9,975 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,898 attacks on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 58 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On May 25, 233 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, one enemy assault was recorded.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units seven times in the areas of Fyholivka, Veterynarne, Starytsia and towards Okhrimivka, Ternova.
On the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped four attempts by the russians to advance in the area of the settlement of Novoosynove.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy tried to wedge into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 11 times in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve, Dibrova, Yampil, Lyman and Stavky.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy stormed eight times in the areas of the settlements of Zakitne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers conducted one offensive action on the area of the settlement of Nykyforivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the invaders carried out 15 attacks near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka and Rusyn Yar.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 38 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Toretske, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Muravka and towards the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Shevchenko and Bilytske.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the russians attacked four times in the area of Ternove and towards Velykomykhailivka.
On the Huliaipole axis, the invaders carried out 28 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka and towards the settlements of Hirke, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Staroukrainka, Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped three enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Bilohiria, Stepnohirsk and towards Prymorske.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy attacked twice on the area of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit six areas of enemy manpower concentration, one UAV control point and three guns.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on May 25 amounted to 1,020 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 22, 216 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of which was on the Pokrovsk (42 clashes) and Huliaipole (32) axes.
Meanwhile, the United Kingdom, France, and several other NATO member states did not support the proposal by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to increase military funding for Ukraine.
