Defense Forces hit Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery and Yaroslavl-3 refinery

On May 18, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo (Nizhegorod Oblast, russia).

This was stated in a message from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, it is reported that a fire was recorded on the territory of the enterprise, the extent of the damage is being clarified.

The Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the russian federation. The refining capacity is about 17 million tons of oil per year.

The plant produces gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, which is used to meet the needs of the russian occupation forces.

On May 19, the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station was also hit near the settlement of Semibratovo, Yaroslavl Oblast of the russian federation.

The extent of the damage is being clarified.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 17 and on the night of May 18, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important objects of the russian occupiers, in particular, they hit the anti-sabotage boat of the Grachonok project in the Kaspiysk Oblast (Republic of Dagestan) and UAV control points.
