Earthquake strikes Poltava Region

On the morning of May 17, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.6 (on the Richter scale) was recorded in the Poltava Region. It was reported by the Main Center for Special Control.

The earthquake occurred at 6:39 a.m. in the Poltava District (Dykanka Territorial Community) at a depth of 4 km. According to the earthquake classification, it is considered barely perceptible.
