Zelenskyy on attack on moscow: Quite fair responses to prolongation of war

The President described the nighttime attack on moscow and the surrounding region as "entirely justified responses" to the strikes on Ukrainian cities. He wrote this on his Telegram channel. 

"Our responses to Russia’s prolongation of the war and strikes on our cities and communities are entirely justified. This time, Ukrainian long-range strikes have reached the Moscow Oblast, and we are sending a clear message to the Russians: their state must end this war. Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers continue their work... The distance from Ukraine’s state border is over 500 km. The concentration of Russian air defense in the Moscow Oblast is the highest. But we are overcoming it,” he wrote.

The Ministry of Defense reported that Ukrainian defenders struck the moscow Oil Refinery, the Solnechnogorsk oil depot, and several microelectronics manufacturing facilities for the first time.

"Previously, these facilities were protected by a massive amount of air defense systems. But something strange happened," the ministry said.

As a reminder, the russians had previously complained about a massive drone attack on moscow and the surrounding region and published numerous videos.
