Lviv raising fares for all public transportation by 20-35%

Starting May 16, fares on all public transportation in Lviv will increase by 20–35%.

It was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council on its Facebook page, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

The announcement states that starting tomorrow, May 16, prices will be as follows:

- UAH 11.5 when paying with a LeoCard for students;

- UAH 23 when paying with the app or a standard LeoCard;

- when paying with a bank card or NFC-enabled phone – UAH 26;

- UAH 30 when paying with cash.

The cost of luggage transport is UAH 23 for cashless payments and UAH 30 for cash payments.

A student pass for all modes of transport costs UAH 575; a general pass for all modes of transport costs UAH 1,150.

The fine for riding without a ticket is UAH 520.

It is noted that during the previous price review in May 2025, diesel fuel cost about UAH 48 per liter, while today it is already over UAH 90.

Tickets purchased earlier remain valid.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, retail prices for diesel, LPG, and A-92 gasoline at Ukrainian gas stations from May 1 to May 8 fell by UAH 0.01 to UAH 0.79, while prices for A-95 and A-95 Premium gasoline rose by UAH 0.71 to UAH 1.15.
