Gasoline cars remain popular, market grew by 15% in April - Ukravtoprom
In April 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 13,600 passenger cars with gasoline engines, which is 15% more than in April 2025.
This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The message says that of this number of new cars – 2,400 units (+12%) and 11,200 units of used ones (+16%).
The TOP-5 models of new passenger cars with gasoline internal combustion engines were: Hyundai Tucson - 182 units; BMW 3 - 132 units; Mazda CX5 - 130 units; Skoda Karoq - 123 units and Suzuki SX4 - 116 units.
TOP-5 imported used gasoline cars: Volkswagen Tiguan - 730 units; Volkswagen Golf - 692 units; Nissan Rogue - 612 units; Audi Q5 - 605 units and Audi A4 - 352 units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in March 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 13,100 passenger cars with gasoline engines, which is 22% more than in March 2025.
In 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 26,300 new cars with gasoline engines, which is 6% less than in 2024.
