NABU notifies Yermak of suspicion in Kozyn's Dynasty case
Andrii Yermak, the former head of the Office of the President, has been notified of his status as a suspect in connection with an organized group that laundered UAH 460 million through a luxury construction project near Kyiv. This is stated in a press release issued by NABU on Monday, May 11.
"NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) have exposed an organized group involved in laundering UAH 460 million through an elite construction project near Kyiv. One of its members—the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine—has been notified of the charges. Charge: Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Urgent investigative actions are ongoing," NABU noted.
The agency also released audio recordings in which those involved discuss the details of the construction of the houses. It should be noted that in the recordings, the cost of building one residence is cited as approximately USD 2 million.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 11, MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak announced searches at the residence of the former head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak.
