6,200 new passenger cars added to Ukrainian car fleet in private and corporate sectors of car market in April - UkrAutoprom

In April 2026, more than 6,200 new passenger cars were added to Ukraine’s vehicle fleet in the private and corporate sectors of the auto market; the Toyota RAV4 remains the most popular model in the private sector.

This is stated in a report by the UkrAutoprom association, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

The report states that 66% of passenger cars were sold to private customers, while 34% were purchased by legal entities.

Compared to April 2025, sales of new passenger cars in the private segment of the car market decreased by 1%, while in the corporate segment they increased by 13%.

When buying new passenger cars, private buyers preferred the following models: Toyota Rav-4 – 291 units; Hyundai Tucson – 179 units; BMW 3 – 139 units; Renault Duster – 130 units; and Mazda CX5 – 124 units.

Meanwhile, among legal entities, the models in highest demand were: Renault Duster – 449 units; Skoda Kodiaq – 67 units; Toyota Rav-4 – 66 units; Volkswagen Touareg – 62 units; and Citroen C-Elysee – 51 units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in March 2026, over 5,900 new passenger cars were added to the Ukrainian vehicle fleet in the private and corporate sectors of the car market, with the Toyota Rav-4 remaining the most popular in the private sector.

In 2025, 81,300 new passenger cars were added to the Ukrainian vehicle fleet in the private and corporate sectors of the car market; the Volkswagen ID.Unyx became the most popular model in the private sector.
