Interior Ministry has no information on russia's plans to attack Kyiv on May 10-11 - spokeswoman
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has no information regarding russia’s intentions to attack Kyiv, particularly on May 10–11. The Ministry of Internal Affairs' spokesperson Mariana Reva has stated this in a comment to Channel 24 on Thursday, May 7.
Reva emphasized that the ministry has no information regarding possible shelling of Kyiv. According to her, such data does not fall within the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ purview.
"It is important to maintain critical thinking and trust only official statements. For example, you may have seen the statements from the European Commission and the German Foreign Ministry—diplomatic missions continue to operate in Kyiv despite Russia’s attempts to escalate the situation," Reva emphasized.
At the same time, air raid alerts should not be ignored, as the threat of enemy attacks is constant, the Ministry of Internal Affairs' spokesperson said.
As a reminder, on May 7, the Telegraf publication reported, citing an informed source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that the aggressor may be preparing a massive shelling of Kyiv on May 10–11.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 7, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that representatives of certain states close to russia are advised not to be in moscow on May 9.
