New York court releases alleged suicide note from sex offender Epstein

A federal court in New York state has declassified a document that may be Jeffrey Epstein's suicide note. The material related to the case of Epstein's former cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione.

The Guardian reports.

"They investigated me for months — FOUND NOTHING!!!" reads the note. "It is a treat to be able to choose one's time to say goodbye. Watcha want me to do — Bust out cryin!! NO FUN – NOT WORTH IT!!", the text says.

The declassification occurred after journalists requested the release of materials related to this case.

Nicholas Tartaglione, a former police officer, is serving a life sentence for the murder of four people. In 2019, he found Epstein unconscious in a shared cell. According to federal documents, Epstein then claimed to have been assaulted by Tartaglione, and a week before his death, reported no suicidal intentions.

Tartaglione himself claimed to have found the note and handed it over to his lawyers as possible evidence in future assault charges. After that, according to him, the document was examined by handwriting analysis experts.

Jeffrey Epstein was found dead on August 10, 2019, in a prison cell in New York. A forensic examination then determined that the cause of death was suicide.

Recall, on January 30, the US Department of Justice published more than 3 million additional pages under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, including videos and images.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Kremlin said that it did not even want to waste time answering questions about the assumptions of Western media and the Polish Prime Minister that the sex offender, American financier Jeffrey Epstein, could have been an agent of russian intelligence.

Meanwhile, mentions of russian conductor Valery Gergiev appeared in the so-called "Epstein files". His name appears in e-mail correspondence attributed to financier Jeffrey Epstein and his contacts.
