Number of injured in russian strike on Zaporizhzhia increases to 43, 12 killed - Fedorov

The enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia on May 5 took the lives of 12 people, another 43 people were injured, 18 of them are in hospitals.

Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, has announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"The Russians took the lives of 12 people. My sincere condolences to the relatives of the deceased," Fedorov wrote yesterday evening.

Currently, all emergency services are working at the site of the strikes. Rescue operations are ongoing.

Fedorov noted that May 6 is a Day of Mourning in Zaporizhzhia.

On Wednesday morning, the head of the Regional Military Administration reported that 43 people aged 20 to 66 have already sought medical attention.

"18 people are in hospitals. The condition of four is assessed by doctors as serious, 14 people are in moderate condition. The other victims are being treated at home after receiving medical care," Fedorov said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 5, the terrorist country russia struck Zaporizhzhia with several guided bombs, damaging enterprises, residential buildings, service stations, and a car wash.
