Over 5,000 clashes and almost 7,000 guided aerial bombs. Defense Ministry reports on situation on front in April

In April, the military of the aggressor country of russia used almost 7,000 guided aerial bombs against the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This is announced in a statement by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As noted, this is the second month in terms of the number of guided aerial bombs since the start of the full-scale invasion. There were more only in March - 7,987.

"At the same time, the intensity of hostilities is not decreasing - during the month, 5,085 clashes took place on the front. Their number per day repeatedly exceeded 200, in particular on April 26 - 241. Even on Easter, during the so-called "truce", more than 100 clashes were recorded," the Ministry of Defense said.

The department also added that compared to previous months, the number of artillery shelling has slightly decreased. In April, a little more than 96,000 were recorded, including 2,322 from MLRS.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Yurii Ihnat, head of the communications department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the russian occupiers are increasingly using false targets in their attacks to overload the air defense system and exhaust the defenders of the sky.
