Russian drones attack port infrastructure in Odesa Region, fires break out - Regional Military Administration

On the night and morning of April 22, russian troops launched a massive attack on the Odesa Region using two waves of attack drones. The main target of the enemy was the region's infrastructure. The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak has reported this.

Despite the active work of air defense forces, damage to port facilities was recorded. Fires broke out at the sites of the hits, which were promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service units.

No people were injured in the attack, and civilian buildings remained intact. At present, work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the shelling, and specialized services continue to record the extent of the destruction.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of April 22, russian troops attacked the transport infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia, killing one person.

Also, on the night of April 21, another russian shelling damaged an energy infrastructure facility in the Nizhyn District of the Chernihiv Region. The attack led to large-scale power outages, leaving more than 54,000 consumers without power.
