Hundreds of drones and ballistics: how AFU repelled massive night attack by RF

On the night of April 15, russian troops launched a combined strike on Ukraine using ballistic missiles and hundreds of strike drones. Air defense forces managed to destroy most of the air targets.

According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy launched three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov Oblast of the russian federation, as well as 324 drones of various types.

"On the night of April 15, the enemy attacked with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov Oblast of the russian federation, as well as 324 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas strike UAVs and drones of other types from seven directions, about 250 of them were Shaheds," the military reported.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups.

As of this morning, Ukrainian sky defenders had destroyed or suppressed 309 enemy drones in various regions of the country.

At the same time, hits of missiles and 13 drones were recorded in nine locations, as well as the fall of fragments of downed targets in ten more places.

"Several enemy UAVs in the airspace. Follow safety rules," the Air Force added.

Recall that Zelenskyy warned of a possible russian air attack on the night of April 15.
