Russian "Shahed" hits administrative building in center of Chernihiv - City Military Administration
On the morning of April 14, russian troops attacked Chernihiv with attack drones, resulting in a hit in the city center. The attack by attack drones and its first consequences were reported by the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi.
"One of the 'Shaheds' hit an administrative building in the city center," the head of the City Military Administration said in his official statement.
Air defense forces were actively working in the region during the raid, but one of the kamikaze drones managed to hit a civilian infrastructure facility.
According to updated information from the city authorities, the building was damaged as a result of the explosion, but there were no civilian casualties. As Bryzhynskyi later clarified, there were no injuries among the people.
"As a result of the explosion, windows were smashed and doors were damaged in the administrative building," the head of the administration added, commenting on the condition of the damaged building.
At present, the relevant services continue to work at the site of the hit to fully assess the damage.
