Ukrzaliznytsia launches test flight to Chisinau Airport. How route will work

Ukrzaliznytsia together with Moldovan partners is introducing a new connection format that will allow passengers to conveniently get from Kyiv to Chisinau International Airport. On April 13, train No. 351 Kyiv - Chisinau will run in test mode along an extended route to the Revaca station. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Revaca station is located in close proximity to the main airport of Moldova. For maximum convenience of passengers, a free shuttle will be organized at the station, which will deliver travelers directly to the airport terminal.

The company emphasizes that the project is currently operating in a test format. The decision to establish the route to the airport on a permanent basis will be made based on the results of an analysis of demand among passengers.

Train No. 351/352, known as the "Train to Victory", resumed its work in November 2022 after a long pause. Currently, it runs every other day, providing stable communication between the Ukrainian and Moldovan capitals.

The launch of a direct rail-bus connection with Chisinau airport should be a convenient solution for Ukrainians planning international flights in the conditions of the closed airspace of Ukraine.
