Over past day, 173 combat clashes recorded on russian-Ukrainian front - General Staff summary

The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to advance deep into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment on various sections of the front.

In total, 173 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.

This is stated in the text of the operational summary published by the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 73 air strikes, dropped 230 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 8,162 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,188 shelling on settlements and positions of our troops, including 109 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Kolomyitsi, Velykomykhailivka, Orestopil, Dnipropetrovsk Region; Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhenska, Charivne, Rizdvyanka, Orikhiv, Yurkivka, Zarichne, Novoselivka, Barvinivka of the Zaporizhzhia Region.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation struck three areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, as well as two control points of unmanned aerial vehicles of the occupiers.

Twelve combat clashes took place in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes, in the areas of the settlement of Prokhody and towards Mala Rybitsia; in addition, the enemy carried out 130 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, 33 of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out three air strikes using seven guided aerial bombs.

In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 12 times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kolodiazne, Starytsia, Zelene, Vovchanski Khutory, Prylipka, Lyman and towards Hrafske.

In the Kupyansk Axis, the aggressor attacked three times in the areas of the settlements of Kurylivka and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman Axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled ten attempts by the invaders to advance near Dibrova, Nadiya, Zarichne and towards the settlements of Olhivka, Stepove, Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna.

In the Slovyansk Axis, during the past day, our defenders stopped three attempts by the invaders to advance near Riznykivka and Yampil.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, the invaders did not carry out any attacks in the past day.

In the Kostiantynivka Axis, the enemy carried out nineteen attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Stepanivka, Ivanopillia and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, our defenders stopped 26 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Ivanivka, Molodetske, Pokrovsk, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Filiya and Novoserhiivka.

In the Oleksandrivka Axis, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Kalynivske, Oleksandrivka, Sichneve and Verbove.

In the Huliaipole Axis, sixteen attacks by the invaders took place in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Bilohiria, Hulyaipilske, Staroukrainka, Charivne, Zaliznychne and Sviatopetrivka.

In the Orikhiv Axis, the enemy once tried to advance near the settlement of Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, Ukrainian units stopped four enemy attacks near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In the Volyn and Polissia Axes, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in total, the losses of the russian invaders last day amounted to 1,440 people. Our soldiers also neutralized three tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 64 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, three air defense systems, 2,014 unmanned aerial vehicles, a heavy flamethrower system, 183 units of automobile and two units of special equipment.
