17 citizens injured in russian attacks on apartment buildings in Sumy - local authorities and SESU
17 people, including a child, were injured in russian shelling of apartment buildings in Sumy.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, the State Emergency Service (SESU) and the Sumy Region Police.
During April 10, the occupiers carried out several strikes. The first one destroyed the roof of an apartment building. 5 people turned to the medical service with an acute stress reaction.
The second strike occurred late in the evening of April 10, also on a 5-story building. There were fires on the first and third floors.
On the third floor, rescuers found an injured woman and, together with doctors, transported her to an ambulance.
According to the Regional Military Administration, a 14-year-old boy is among the wounded. He was provided with the necessary medical assistance on the spot. In general, most of the victims on April 10 were elderly people.
The police say the largest number of victims was in Sumy - a total of 17 people. In total, according to law enforcement officers, 23 people were injured in the Sumy Region over the past day.
Criminal proceedings have been opened for each fact under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
