Labor conscription introduced in Odesa, people will be involved in clearing rubble or building shelters - medi
In Odesa, the military administration has introduced labor conscription for adult citizens, which will consist of eliminating the consequences of shelling, building shelters or unloading humanitarian aid. The Odesa publication Dumska reported this with reference to its own sources.
According to the publication, the first deputy head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Nadia Zadorozhnia, signed a corresponding order the other day.
The publication writes that labor conscription includes eliminating the consequences of shelling, building and repairing shelters, unloading or loading humanitarian aid, duty at Invincibility Points, making camouflage nets, and more.
Labor conscription applies to able-bodied citizens aged 18 to 65 who are able to perform such tasks due to their health. These are the unemployed, internally displaced persons (IDPs), veterans, and other unemployed residents of the city.
It is emphasized that employed people can also be involved in the above-mentioned work, but on the condition that this does not harm the activities of the enterprise or organization in which they work.
People who will be involved in the work are promised payment. Payments will be financed from various sources: funds from customers of the work, charitable contributions, and funds from the Social Insurance Fund in case of unemployment. Unemployed citizens are allegedly entitled to payment not lower than the minimum wage, and employed citizens - not lower than their average earnings at their main place of work.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of today, April 6, the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, struck Odesa. One of the russian drones hit an apartment building, killing three people.
Recall that at the end of February, generators from Slovakia were brought to Odesa as part of the aid program. Local authorities brought them to the yard of a house where there was no light, took pictures with them, but later took them away in an unknown direction.
