Iran has said that it is ready to fully restore the work of the Strait of Hormuz only on one condition - after full compensation for the damages caused by the war.

As reported by CNN, this was stated by a high-ranking Iranian official, emphasizing that without financial payments from opponents, the strait will remain restricted.

Tehran also reacted to the harsh statements of US President Donald Trump. Iranian administration representative Mehdi Tabatabaei said that such rhetoric indicates the "desperation and anger" of the American leader.

At the same time, negotiations on unblocking the strait are ongoing. According to sources, Iran, together with Oman, is discussing possible mechanisms for safe shipping. This involves creating a special protocol that will allow commercial vessels to use the route again.

Other countries are also involved in the process - in particular, Pakistan and Egypt, which help maintain contact between the parties.

As a reminder, the US asked Planet Labs to suspend the distribution of satellite images of Iran and some Middle Eastern countries.
