Strike on Lutsk: warehouses catch fire and house damaged after russian attack

Russian troops struck Lutsk in the Volyn Region on the morning of April 1 - one of the industrial enterprises came under fire, local authorities reported.

The city council noted: "One of the industrial enterprises in Lutsk was hit. Also, a fragment of the Shahed damaged an apartment building."

Later, the city mayor Ihor Polishchuk clarified that the target of the attack was the warehouse facilities.

"The strategic objects for the attack were identified as the warehouse of Nova Poshta and the grocery warehouse of one of the retail chains. The balcony of one of the high-rise buildings, where the fire broke out, was also damaged," he reported.

All emergency services are working on the scene, information about the victims is being clarified. As of this morning, there is no information about the killed.

The air alert in the region continued, residents were urged to stay in shelters until the official end of the alert.
