The twin cities of Leipzig and Hamburg have already sent 72 generators to Kyiv this year. The mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitali Klitschko has announced this.

"Since the beginning of the year, Kyiv has received a total of 72 generators of various capacities from the German twin cities of Leipzig and Hamburg. Today, the final part of the power sources from this batch of aid has arrived. This assistance is extremely important during the energy crisis caused by Russia's devastating attacks on critical infrastructure facilities," Vitali Klitschko said.

The mayor clarified that Leipzig, in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of Economic Development, handed over 49 generators from 60 to 300 kW to Kyiv. And in cooperation with a foundation from Berlin, it sent 2 high-power generators - 280 and 710 kW. Kyiv also received 850 meters of cable from Leipzig to connect these power sources.

Hamburg handed over 21 generators from 60 to 110 kW and 290 meters of cable to Kyiv.
