Budanov has strategic thinking, which is extremely necessary for Ukraine - Kuleba
Former Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba positively assessed the personal qualities of the head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Budanov, noting his strategic thinking and calling this trait critically important for the state in the conditions of a protracted war and a difficult international situation. He stated this in an interview with journalist Dmytro Gordon.
"This is a person (Budanov - ed.) who is able to think steps ahead. I really appreciate such people, because, in my opinion, Ukraine as a state project suffers to a large extent from a lack of strategic thinking," Kuleba noted.
According to the diplomat, Budanov demonstrates an approach based not on the logic of total confrontation, but on the understanding that even difficult partners can be useful for achieving strategic goals. Such a philosophy, in his opinion, creates more opportunities for effective state policy.
Kuleba also emphasized the political nature of the agreements between Zelenskyy and Budanov on the eve of the latter's appointment. He emphasized that this is an example of the interaction of subject figures who are able to find joint solutions in the interests of the state.
"In my opinion, the agreement between Zelenskyy and Budanov on cooperation is the first act of politics in Ukraine since 2022, because politics is when subject figures agree among themselves," the former Foreign Minister emphasized.
