Drones attack strategic russian port in Leningrad Oblast: fire broke out after massive attack

The Leningrad Oblast of russia announced a large-scale drone attack, which resulted in a fire in the oil port of Primorsk.

This was reported by the governor of the region, Aleksander Drozdenko.

According to him, since the evening of March 22, russian air defense and electronic warfare forces have allegedly shot down dozens of drones over the region.

"A fuel tank was damaged in the port of Primorsk, a fire broke out. Firefighting is underway, personnel have been evacuated."

Initially, 35 drones were reported destroyed, but later, according to updated data, their number exceeded 50.

The port of Primorsk is the largest russian oil terminal in the Baltic Sea and a key point in the Baltic pipeline system.

At the same time, russian Telegram channels also wrote about an incident near the military enterprise "VISKOM" in the city of Gatchina. According to them, a missile of the russian air defense system exploded near the plant.

The enterprise "VISKOM" is part of the defense-industrial complex of russia and is engaged in the development and production of close combat weapons and explosive devices.

Let us recall that on the night of March 14, as a result of a drone attack on the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation, a fire broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery and a ship was damaged in the port "Kavkaz".
