Over past 24 hours, 161 combat clashes recorded on russian-Ukrainian front - General Staff

The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their position and advance deep into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and are conducting active operations in some areas of the front.

In total, 161 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 82 air strikes, dropped 263 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 8,107 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,777 shelling on settlements and positions of our troops, including 83 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Esman, Sumy Region; Pokrovske, Dnipropetrovsk Region; Krynychne, Hirke, Kopani, Trudove, Novoukrainka, Zirnytsia, Vozdvizhivska, Zalyvne, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Dolynka of the Zaporizhia Region; Olhivka of the Kherson Region.

Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 7 areas of concentration of manpower and 2 control points of unmanned aerial vehicles of the occupiers.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes over the past day, the Defense Forces repelled 7 enemy assaults, the enemy launched 7 air strikes using 17 aerial bombs, carried out 108 shelling, of which 16 were using MLRSes.

In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 7 times near the settlements of Vovchanski Khutory, Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, Prylipka, Zelene and Starytsia.

In the Kupyansk Axis, the enemy attacked twice in the direction of the settlements of Novoplatonivka and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked once. It tried to wedge its way into our defenses near Drobysheve.

In the Slovyansk Axis, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped seven attempts by the occupiers to advance in the area of ​​Rai-Oleksandrivka, Yampol and Platonivka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, the occupiers did not conduct any offensive operations.

In the Kostiantynivka Axis, the enemy carried out 22 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, our defenders stopped 32 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Bilytske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopavlivka, Filiya and Biliakivka.

In the Oleksandrivka Axis, the enemy attacked three times, in the Ternove, Krasnohirske and Kalynivske areas.

In the Huliaipole Axis, there were 21 attacks by the invaders in the areas of Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Zelene, Staroukrainka, Varvarivka and Luhivske.

In the Orikhiv Axis, there was one clash with the enemy in the Stepnohirsk area.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In the Volyn and Polissia Axis, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, putting up effective resistance on all sections of the front.

In general, as Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of the russian invaders last day amounted to 1,240 people. The enemy also lost one tank, 8 armored combat vehicles, 39 artillery systems, one helicopter, 1,781 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 144 units of automotive equipment.
