Russian troops have struck another blow to the critical infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia, as a result of which tens of thousands of residents and thousands of enterprises were left without electricity. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

The enemy's primary target was the life support facilities of the regional center. Immediately after the attack, more than 38,000 household consumers and about 2,000 legal entities were left without electricity. Unfortunately, there were casualties: one person was seriously injured, the victim is currently under medical supervision.

To support the work of critical institutions, specialists quickly activated backup power sources. Thanks to the quick actions of power engineers, power supply has already been restored for 83% of the affected consumers. At the moment, restoration work is ongoing, and another 6,265 private households and 305 organizations remain without electricity. The authorities warn that temporary power outages are still possible in some districts of the city until the consequences of the shelling are completely eliminated.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russian federation struck Odesa: there are casualties and damage to residential buildings in the historic center.
