RF strikes Odesa with drones at night, residential buildings and hostel damaged, injured reported
On the night of March 19, the russian occupation army carried out a massive drone strike on residential buildings in Odesa. As a result of the attack, residential buildings, a communal enterprise and a university hostel were damaged, and three people were wounded.
This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper and the head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak in the Telegram messenger, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that enemy drones attacked the Odesa Region again at night.
"In Odesa, the attack led to destruction and fires in residential buildings in three districts of the city. Unfortunately, three people were wounded, three residents were rescued from blocked apartments," he wrote.
One of the Shaheds hit a high-rise building - several apartments, the facade and glazing of the building were partially destroyed.
The territory of a utility company was also affected - part of the equipment and 11 vehicles were damaged.
All fires were extinguished by rescuers, emergency and utility services continue to work at the scene.
Head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak added that a hostel of one of the universities was damaged in the Kyivskyi district of the city.
According to him, one of the residential buildings was damaged in the historical center of the city.
Regarding the victims, he noted that two of the three wounded were hospitalized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in Lviv, as a result of a russian drone attack on March 18, the building of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv Region was damaged.
