Zelenskyy: russia attacks Ukraine with 1770 drones, more than 1530 guided air bombs and 86 missiles over week
This week, the aggressor country russia attacked Ukraine with 1770 attack drones, more than 1530 guided air bombs and 86 missiles. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has written this on his Telegram channel.
"This week alone, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 1770 attack drones, more than 1530 KABs and 86 missiles, including more than 20 ballistic missiles," Zelenskyy said.
The President added that each of these missiles contains at least 60 foreign components supplied to russia in violation of sanctions.
"The schemes of such supplies are known, and they need to be eliminated. If the world does not have enough air defense capabilities to close the skies from ballistic missiles in Europe and the Middle East at the same time, we must deprive the Russians of the ability to assemble missiles at their factories. I am grateful to everyone who continues the sanctions work to protect lives," he said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of March 14, the aggressor country russia launched a massive combined air attack on Ukraine: the enemy used 498 means of air attack: almost 70 missiles of various types and 430 drones. The air defense forces neutralized 460 targets, including 58 missiles and 402 drones of various types.
