Cabinet of Ministers to allocate UAH 11 billion from state budget reserve fund to protect critical infrastructure - Svyrydenko
At the next government meeting, it is planned to allocate UAH 11.2 billion from the state budget reserve fund to protect critical infrastructure facilities.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko has announced this on Telegram.
As she informed on Telegram on Saturday, at the second meeting of the Coordination Center for the Implementation of Resilience Plans in Chernihiv, the priority need for funding to protect critical infrastructure in nine frontline regions and Kyiv was formed.
A total of 210 critical infrastructure facilities have been identified, and work on them will begin in the coming days, the Prime Minister noted.
"We are preparing to allocate UAH 11.2 billion from the state budget reserve fund for these tasks at the next government meeting. This will allow us to launch the construction of new protection as soon as possible," the official said.
Svyrydenko also noted that work on deregulation solutions and additional business support is being finalized.
"We are developing a program of affordable lending for business for energy independence with a fixed rate of 7% per annum for the entire term of the contract. Within the framework of the 5-7-9% program for the frontline, we are extending the loan terms until the end of 2027," the post says.
Svyrydenko said that the meeting heard the state of implementation of the resilience plans of two frontline regions - Chernihiv and Sumy.
"We also discussed steps to implement the Kyiv resilience plan submitted by the city authorities," the Prime Minister of Ukraine said.
