Ukrainians will receive 5-15% cashback for fuel from state at gas stations - Svyrydenko
Ukrainians will receive 5-15% cashback for fuel from the state at gas stations. Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko has announced this on her Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Svyrydenko said that following a discussion with the President, the government is preparing a new support package for citizens, including cashback for fuel.
When buying at a gas station, citizens will be able to receive from the state:
15% cashback on diesel fuel;
10% cashback on gasoline;
5% cashback on autogas.
Cashback on fuel will work until May 1 at all gas stations that join the program.
Payments will be made on the basis of the National Cashback program, which is already used by 9.4 million citizens.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the preparation of new support programs for Ukrainians, including additional payments of UAH 1500 for 13 million Ukrainians, including pensioners and social assistance recipients, as well as support for people due to the destabilization of the fuel market as a result of the situation around Iran and the reduction in oil supplies to the world market.
