In January-February, imports of goods to Ukraine continued to grow, while exports fell

In January-February 2026, Ukraine imported goods worth USD 14.8 billion and exported for USD 6.5 billion.

The State Customs Service has said about this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

At the same time, taxed imports amounted to USD 5.2 billion, which is 78% of the total volume of imported goods.

So, among the leaders of the countries that imported goods to Ukraine: China - USD 4 billion, Poland - USD 1.4 billion, and Turkey - USD 1.1 billion.

The total volume of goods imported in January-February 2026 included the following categories of goods:

machinery, equipment and transport - USD 6 billion;

fuel and energy fuel and energy - USD 2.6 billion;

chemicals - USD 2.6 billion.

The largest exports from Ukraine were to Poland - USD 713 million, Turkey - USD 563 million, and Italy - USD 428 million.

The top three most exported goods from Ukraine included:

food products - USD 4.0 billion;

metals and products made of them - USD 589 million;

machinery, equipment and transport - USD 532 million.

The report says that in January-February 2026, UAH 318.5 million was paid to the budget during customs clearance of exports of goods subject to export duties.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January 2026, Ukraine imported goods worth USD 6.7 billion and exported for USD 3.2 billion.

In 2025, Ukraine imported goods worth USD 84.8 billion and exported USD 40.3 billion.
