Woman lawyer beaten in Kyiv on territory of territorial recruitment and social support center
The Bar Council of the Kyiv Region claimed that lawyer Yuliia Bohdan was beaten near the Dniprovskyi District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support in Kyiv. According to the lawyers' community, the incident occurred on March 6, when the lawyer arrived at the institution to provide legal assistance to her client.

According to the Bar Council of Kyiv Region, Yuliia Bohdan arrived at the Dniprovskyi District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support around 3 p.m. to meet with a student intern to whom she was providing legal assistance. The visit was pre-registered in the electronic office, but the lawyer was denied access to the territory of the institution.
The head of the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Advocates of the Bar Council of Kyiv Region, Andrii Hrubskyi, said that after that, the territorial recruitment and social support center's employees forcibly dragged the lawyer into the territory of the institution, took away her phone and used physical force.
"During the conflict between her client and representatives of the territorial recruitment and social support center, which arose at the checkpoint, the lawyer began to record the events on her phone. After that, according to eyewitnesses, the phone was snatched away, and the lawyer was dragged into the territory of the territorial recruitment and social support center by force and physical force was applied to her," he said.
According to representatives of the lawyer community, the woman was injured, and the phone contained information that constitutes attorney-client privilege, including client contacts and work correspondence
Lawyers appealed to the SBI
An ambulance and a police investigative team were called to the scene.
"She was in a state as if a small child had been abused by adult men. Her hands were shaking, she couldn't speak. And it wasn't because of the cold - she was just physically and psychologically turned inside out," Andrii Hrubskyi said about his colleague's condition.
After that, representatives of the Bar Council of the Kyiv Region appealed to the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation in Kyiv with a statement about a possible criminal offense.
The lawyers' community demand a full and impartial investigation of the incident, emphasizing that it is an obstruction of the lawyer's legitimate activities in the performance of professional duties.
As previously reported, an employee of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support declared cryptocurrencies for half a million hryvnias.
