Fox News corrects story in which it attributed Ukrainian Sting drones to US army

The American channel Fox News has released an updated material about Ukrainian Sting interceptor drones. The story was published in X by Fox News host Jesse Watters.

This followed a high-profile incident in which, in a previous broadcast, the channel presented footage of Ukrainian developments as successful US military operations against Iranian Shaheds in the Middle East.

Fox News host Jesse Watters in his new story corrected the error and officially admitted that the video recorded the work of drones from the Ukrainian volunteer community "Wild Hornets". He emphasized that it is Ukraine that now possesses unique technologies to counter Iranian drones.

"The Ukrainians will cover us. They have created the most advanced anti-drone technology, countering the swarms of Iranian drones since Putin began the invasion," Waters said live.

The host also noted the effectiveness and accessibility of Ukrainian developments, expressing hope for technological assistance from Kyiv. He called the Ukrainian kamikaze drones "beautiful, cheap, fast and maneuverable."

"Zelenskyy said he wants to help. Maybe he will offer us these "Wild Hornets". The Ukrainians designed these drones, which are extremely effective," the journalist added.

Recall that the Sting drones from the Wild Hornets are specially designed to intercept and destroy enemy drones in the air, which makes them a critically important element of modern air defense.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Pentagon has selected 11 drone suppliers for the US Army, with a Ukrainian company making it to the finals.

Ukrainian specialists will go to the Middle East to protect American bases from Iranian drones.
