Revenues from Google tax increase by 20% to UAH 4.2 billion in 2 months

Since the beginning of the year, the budget has already received more than UAH 4.2 billion of the "Google tax," which is 20% more than in the same period last year (UAH 3.5 billion).

This is stated in the report of the Tax Service, the Ukrainian News agency informs.

The funds are paid by non-residents who provide electronic services to individuals in the customs territory of Ukraine and are registered as VAT payers. In particular, in January-February 2026, the following was paid: EUR 38.5 million and USD 52.1 million.

Leading companies in terms of tax payment: Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy, and Netflix.

As of today, 151 non-residents have already registered as VAT payers who provide electronic services to individuals in the customs territory of Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the obligation to register as a VAT payer for non-residents arises if the volume of electronic services supplied to individuals in the customs territory of Ukraine exceeds the equivalent of UAH 1 million over the past 12 months.
