Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemns Iranian attack on US Embassy in Riyadh

The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha has strongly condemned the drone attack by Iran on the US Embassy in Riyadh.

He reported this on the social network X.

"We strongly condemn Iran's drone attack on US Embassy in Saudi Arabia," the message says.

Sybiha called the Iranian attack brazen, and stressed that it violates international law and the Vienna Convention, and also contributes to "furthering Iran's policy of terror."

"Ukraine stands in solidarity with the Kingdom and the United States. Iran must be held accountable," the Head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry added.

Recall, the Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia confirmed that the US Embassy in Riyadh was attacked by two drones, which caused a fire.

Earlier, Sybiha released a statement regarding Iran's strikes on Middle Eastern countries. In it, Ukraine expressed solidarity with Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, but without Israel, which outraged Ukrainians on social media.
