ATESH paralyzes railway infrastructure of occupiers in Luhansk: main supply artery to front disrupted
Agents of the partisan movement ATESH carried out a series of sabotage operations on the railway infrastructure of the russian occupiers in Luhansk. Two relay cabinets in different parts of the city were disabled - this caused a systemic failure in train traffic management. This is stated in the message of ATESH.
"A blow was struck at the main supply artery of the occupiers. This branch connects russia with Luhansk, passes through Debaltseve and Popasna and goes to the Pokrovsk Axis. In fact, this is the only stable route for delivering troops, ammunition, fuel and equipment from the russian federation to the front," it says.
According to the partisans, after the sabotage, traffic on the sections stopped, trains got stuck, schedules were disrupted. The occupiers are forced to control the trains manually, which significantly reduces the throughput. Military trains are piling up at the entrances to the city and cannot move further.
"The result: fuel and ammunition supplies to the Pokrovsk Axis are disrupted, alternative routes are overloaded and cannot cope with the volumes," ATESH says.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of March 1-2, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the space communications center of the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, in occupied Crimea. Several other facilities in the occupied territories were also hit.
