Cabinet appoints new composition of Naftogaz Supervisory Board
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the candidacies of independent members and state representatives to the new composition of the Supervisory Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company, who were selected by the Nomination Committee at a meeting on February 25.
This is stated in a message from the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The message states that, according to the results of the selection process for the new Supervisory Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company, the following independent members have become:
Thor Martin Anfinnsen - a Norwegian expert with over 30 years of experience in international energy, specializing in strategy, marketing and global gas trade.
Duncan Nightingale - a Canadian expert with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing in upstream operational management and strategic development of energy assets.
Erik Rasmussen - a Danish expert with over 30 years of experience in the field of energy, natural resources and infrastructure financing, in particular at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Robert Sleszynski - a Polish expert in corporate governance and energy with over 20 years of experience in strategic management, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets.
The following were elected as state representatives:
Hanna Artemenko - Deputy Minister of Economy, Ecology and Agriculture of Ukraine, responsible for corporate governance, public investments and public-private partnerships, with over 15 years of civil service experience in the areas of competition policy, state aid, public investments and procurement.
Kostiantyn Maryevych - State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in mid-November 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers announced a competition for candidates for the positions of independent members of the supervisory boards of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company and the Energoatom national nuclear power generating company.
