Should population be worried about price of gas from March 1?
Gas prices for the population from March 1, 2026 remain unchanged.
This was announced by the GazPravda consumer consultation center, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The report states that gas suppliers have published their price lists for March 2026.
There are currently 8 gas supply companies on the market.
4 suppliers in January offer only an annual price, another 4 - both an annual and a monthly variable.
Annual offers have traditionally not changed, but monthly tariffs have decreased by UAH 2 compared to February.
Annual tariffs range from UAH 7.96 to UAH 9.99 per cubic meter. Monthly tariffs - from UAH 8.46 to UAH 25.99 per cubic meter.
It is noted that the basic rates for the population are annual tariffs, and 98% of Ukrainian household consumers (this is over 12 million households) are supplied with natural gas by the State Corporation Naftogaz of Ukraine.
Its tariff is UAH 7.96 per cubic meter and will be valid at least until April 2026.
