On the morning of March 1, the Iranian army launched a new large-scale wave of strikes on a number of Middle Eastern countries, which led to numerous explosions and air raid sirens blaring in Israel, Dubai (UAE), Doha (Qatar), Bahrain, Jordan and Iraq. It was reported by CNN.

During the morning, explosions and thick smoke were heard in Dubai, and the emirate's government media service confirmed on X that the debris of an intercepted missile caused a fire at one of the berths of the strategic port of Jebel Ali.

The UAE Ministry of Defense noted that since the start of the attack on February 28, air defense systems have detected 137 ballistic missiles and 209 drones, most of which were destroyed, but two people were killed by falling debris in parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The situation in Israel remains tense, as the military officially announced that it had detected rocket launches directly from Iran and confirmed "defense systems are working" amid sirens sounding throughout central and southern Israel. At the same time, Iran's Tasnim News Agency reported that targets in Tel Aviv and Haifa were allegedly successfully hit.

In Jordan, defense systems intercepted missiles over the capital Amman and northern regions of the country, and in Qatar, explosions at 7:30 a.m. wounded 16 people, with the Interior Ministry reporting minor property damage.

The situation was also tense in Bahrain, where smoke rose near the Crowne Plaza hotel in Manama, and authorities urged residents to remain calm and head for shelter. A separate stage of the attack was a strike on the territory of Iraq: Iran's state broadcaster IRIB reported thick smoke in the area of Erbil International Airport, where the US air base is located.

US President Donald Trump has issued an official statement in which he confirmed the start of a large-scale military operation against Iran.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has released a commentary on the operation against the Iranian regime, confirming Ukraine's unwavering position on supporting the Iranian people and their right to live in security, freedom and prosperity.
