Ukrainian Armed Forces counter 52 occupants' attacks: fiercest battles take place on Huliaipole axis - AFU General Staff

The aggressor's attempts to advance deep into the territory of Ukraine continue. In some areas of the front, the occupiers are conducting assault operations. The defense forces are holding back the enemy, inflicting significant losses, and attempting to improve their position.

Since the beginning of the day, the number of aggressor attacks has already reached 52.

This is stated in the text of the daily operational update from the Command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on the official page of the military department on Facebook.

Shelling of the border areas continues. Today, settlements in the Sumy Region were hit: Ryzhivka, Ulanove, Rohizne, Neskuchne, Sopych, Iskryskivshchyna, Kucherivka, Khodyne, Starykove, Prohres. The enemy also fired at Kliusy in the Chernihiv Region.

On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the enemy fired 59 times at the settlements and positions of our troops.

On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of Pokrovsk, Vovchanski Khutory, Chuhunivka and in the direction of Zybyne. One firefight is ongoing.

On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy advanced twice in the direction of Kurylivka and in the area of Borivska Andriivka.

On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian troops repelled three attempts by militants to advance toward Stavky, Lyman and Drobysheve.

On the Sloviansk axis, the aggressor attacked once in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka.

On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.

On the Kostiantynivka axis, the invaders carried out five offensives near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Stepanivka and in the direction of Novopavlivka.

On the Pokrovsk axis, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have tried 13 times to push our troops from their positions near Toretske, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske and towards Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne and Novopidhorodnie. One firefight is still ongoing.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked once in the area of Ternove. Havrylivka and Velykomykhailivka came under air strikes.

On the Huliaipole axis, 23 attacks took place in the areas of Huliaipole, Myrne and in the direction of Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka and Varvarivka. The enemy launched an air strike on Charivne. Three combat clashes are ongoing.

On the Orikhiv axis, the occupants did not conduct active offensives, but launched an airstrike on Bilenke.

No active enemy offensive actions were recorded on the Dnieper axis.

There are no significant changes in the situation on other axes. The enemy's attempts to advance are not recorded.

Ukrainian troops are depleting the enemy along the entire front line and in the rear.
