During years of Leshchenko's work in Supervisory Board, Ukrzaliznytsia suffers loss of UAH 18.6 billion

In 2020-2024, Ukrzaliznytsia suffered losses (net financial result after tax) in the amount of UAH 18.604 billion. This is stated in the company's financial results, which are published on the company's official website.

Of these years, 2021 and 2023 were profitable - a total net profit of UAH 5.5 billion, but the losses in 2020, 2022 and 2024 were much larger.

It is worth noting that in all five of these years, the gross financial result of Ukrzaliznytsia (gross revenue from sales minus the cost of goods and services) was positive. In total, gross profit for the entire period amounted to UAH 19.9 billion.

During this time, Ukrzaliznytsia was headed by six managers, but the former MP and advisor to the head of the President's Office Serhii Leshchenko worked continuously in the Supervisory Board.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, despite the fact that the company ended 2024 with a loss of UAH 4.2 billion, Leshchenko received UAH 3 million in salary in a year of extra loss for Ukrzaliznytsia. Including UAH 160,000 in bonuses. Serhii Leshchenko also indicated that he earns UAH 8,500 every day at Ukrzaliznytsia.
