French delegation led by Paris mayor delivers 4 generators to Kyiv, 4 more expected - Klitschko

The French delegation led by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, who arrived in Kyiv, delivered 4 generators of 112 kW each to the city, 4 more are due to arrive soon.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote about this on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The mayor said that this is Anne Hidalgo's sixth visit to Kyiv during the full-scale war.

Since the start of the full-scale war, the Paris City Hall has been sending all kinds of humanitarian aid to Kyiv, including generators and other urgently needed equipment.

Klitschko recalled that during the first visit in April 2022, Kyiv and Paris signed an Agreement on Friendship and Cooperation.

In 2023, on Ukraine's Independence Day, in the center of Paris, Klitschko and Ms. Hidalgo opened the Kyiv Square, which symbolizes the support of the French people for the struggle of Ukrainians for freedom and European values.

On behalf of the Kyiv community, Klitschko thanked the partners for all the assistance and support provided and presented the Mayor of Paris with the highest award from Kyiv - the Badge of Honor.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 4, Kyiv received 30 generators with a total capacity of 3.4 MW from French partners.
