In Samara Oblast of RF, drones attacked gas processing plant, causing fire - local publics

On the night of Saturday, February 21, explosions thundered in the Samara Oblast of the russian federation, which local authorities called "a strike on two industrial sites".

This was announced by local publics, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Thus, according to the Telegram channels Supernova+ and Exilenova+, the Neftegorsk gas processing plant was hit.

The attack was also confirmed by the governor of the Samara Oblast, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.

"Tonight, the enemy struck two industrial sites in the region. There are no casualties. Emergency services are working on the ground," Fedorishchev wrote.

Sources claim that the Neftegorsk gas processing plant was hit.

Supernova+ also claims that "5 tanks are burning".

JSC Neftegorsk Gas Processing Plant is an operating enterprise for the processing of natural gas and associated petroleum gas, located in the city of Neftegorsk, Samara Oblast.

The plant plays an important role in the utilization and processing of hydrocarbon raw materials in the region and is part of the structure of the Rosneft oil company.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 7, Ukrainian military personnel struck the Oskolneftesnab oil depot in the Belgorod Oblast (russia), as well as a warehouse of material and technical equipment in the occupied territory of the Donetsk Region.
