Even more blasts. SSU intensifies strikes on russian oil depots and refineries - Chernenko
The Security Service of Ukraine has increased the intensity of strikes on the territory of russia. At the same time, the Service's drones are setting records for range. This is what political scientist and former MP Oleksandr Chernenko writes.
The expert believes that the operations indicate an increase in the range and accuracy of the Service's drones. "It is not only about the fact of achieving the goal, but also about the ability to bypass the multilayer air defense system that covers strategic objects in the depths of the enemy. We also appreciate the multi-vector targeting. All these defeats not only create problems for the military-industrial complex, but also demonstrate that no Russian region can feel completely protected," emphasizes Chernenko.
The political analyst emphasizes that the strikes are part of a campaign to deplete the enemy's economic and military potential. "The goal is not only the physical destruction of objects, but also the constant forcing of Russia to spend resources on the defense of the deep rear, increasing budgetary expenditures on security. All of this increases the cost of war for the Kremlin. This is a strategy of long-term exhaustion that combines military, economic and psychological effects and forms a new quality of war," the former MP writes.
"It is noteworthy that the Service has reached a new level of intensity of strikes under the leadership of Yevhen Khmara. A combat general who for a long time headed the Center for Special Operations "A". Khmara was one of those who had previously contributed to the development of many operations against the Russians. And now he is successfully scaling up this work in his new position," Chernenko summarizes.
As a reminder, the SSU has recently conducted three long-range attacks in russia. Bombed a refinery in Ukhta: a record for the range of destruction for the entire war (1,700 km). Launched a strike at a chemical plant in the Perm Oblast (1600 km from Ukraine). The plant worked for the russian military-industrial complex and was a key link in the production of explosives. And in the Pskov Oblast, the Service drones successfully attacked a large oil depot.
