Occupants preparing new mechanism for conscription of men in TOT - National Resistance Center

The aggressor country of russia has announced the creation of a special firefighting unit, allegedly to protect the Zaporizhzhia NPP. It is about 211 people in the structure of the Federal Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the formation of which is scheduled for 2027-2028. At the same time, the Ministry of Emergency Situations openly acknowledges a staff shortage - about 20% of the personnel are missing in the Zaporizhzhia Region, and more than 51% in the Kherson Region. This is reported by the National Resistance Center.

It is noted that against this background, the occupation structures expect to increase recruitment to the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the temporarily occupied territories.

"Formally, we are talking about the "rescue service" and "civil protection", but in fact it can become another channel for attracting men of military age to the system of power structures of the Russian Federation," the Center emphasizes.

The Center adds that special attention is drawn to the statement of the leadership of the hostile Ministry of Emergency Situations about the annual deployment of up to 5,000 conscripts to fire departments. This practice creates a risk of further transfer of personnel to other structures, including units of the russian armed forces, if necessary.

"Thus, service in the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the TOT may become an intermediate stage in a broader system of mobilization resources - under the guise of a "rescue service" a personnel reserve is formed, which can be reoriented to military tasks at any time," the National Resistance Center summarizes.
