Border guards have introduced temporary restrictions for freight transport on the Ukrainian-Romanian border due to bad weather. This is reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

"According to the Romanian Border Police, due to the deterioration of weather conditions and significant precipitation, the registration of trucks and vehicles for passenger transportation at the Isaccea checkpoint (adjacent to the Ukrainian Orlivka checkpoint) has been temporarily suspended. Traffic is allowed only for passenger cars," the statement said.

The resumption of crossing operations will be announced later.

As a reminder, a storm warning has been issued in Ukraine today. The weather caused full or partial de-energization of 458 settlements in six regions.
