Dnipro Hotel burned in center of Kyiv: almost 60 people evacuated

On Thursday, February 5, a fire broke out in the Dnipro Hotel, located on Khreshchatyk in the Pecherskyi District of Kyiv: one of the rooms was on fire.

It was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The fire broke out in one of the hotel rooms on the third floor of the building. The cause of the fire is currently being established by law enforcement agencies.

As of 10:06 a.m., rescuers have completely eliminated the fire. They evacuated 57 people from the building, including one child.

According to the State Emergency Service, there were no fatalities or injuries. A total of 70 rescuers and 11 units of special equipment were involved in the firefighting.

The service also published photos from the scene, which captured the process of extinguishing the fire in the Dnipro Hotel.

As a reminder, on the night of February 5, as a result of another hostile attack on Kyiv, destruction and fires were recorded in three districts of the city.
